This is the first single from the forthcoming album, Inner Loop / Outer Loop. The track comes straight out of the brief introduction music to announce the mood of the first section of the album. It is part of a four track medley that is followed by some kind of tango-meets-R'n'B track before going into a slow salsa piece.

This track was originally conceived as a piece for a horn/percussion ensemble, before I introduced it as a surf rock instrumental for a band I played with called Col. Knowledge & the Lickity-Splits. We always had a blast playing it live, although this arrangement is quite different from that version.

The orchestra here, as on the entire album, is virtual. I write out the score using Sibelius scoring software. It then fed that information to a program that uses live sound samples and AI to recreate realistic tones and expressions. I then mixed and mastered using Studio One.
