about

"Plane at an Angle" is the first single from the upcoming album, Theater. I used to walk past a skate park a lot that had a broken picnic table that leaned at a weird angle. The original melody was inspired by that picnic table. Here, the tune serves as an introduction to the album on which it is featured, Theater; hence, the pomp and exclamatory elements.

The music was originally conceived on guitar, was then scored for orchestra using Sibelius, exported using NotePerformer live sampling/AI technology, and manipulated in Studio One where live guitars, synths, electro beats, and other effects were added.
